Another treasure gained for Heaven

One woman
Granny Bridget (Rankin) MacDougall - 1918-2011

10 children

Oldest 4 - around 1945

Oldest 4 - 2011

17 grandchildren

19 great-grandchildren + 1 on the way!

She was a magnificent and beautiful woman.  She lived a full life and passed away this morning at age 93.  (Her husband, my grandfather, passed away many years ago and I have no digital pictures of him yet.)

She has left behind a legacy and she has provided us an amazing example to follow.

Heaven has gained two MacDougall treasures in 2011.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.  May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

And in the perfect words of my Uncle Ray:
Fare-thee-weel, thou best and dearest!
Fare-thee-weel, thou best and dearest!
Thine be ilka joy and treasure,
Peace, Enjoyment, Love and Pleasure!
Ae fond kiss, and then we sever!
Ae fareweel alas, for ever!
