Celebratory Fist Bumps all around

Holy _____...

For a few miraculous moments this morning...

I caught my two angel babies playing in the same vicinity with the same brand toy...

without screaming, fighting, pushing, stealing, grabbing....

I got super nervous when he looked over at her...but I made a "CAW CAW" sound to distract him.  

I had to bite my tongue to remain very still and quiet as I snapped photos of this wildly rare moment.  I desperately wanted to go unnoticed.

You know how us moms do - We mistake a laugh for a cry, immediately intervene and find out that not only have we interrupted a fun moment between our children, but also we have signaled the homing beacon and now they are converging on us like salt to a slug.  (I KNOW Ana knows what I'm talking about!!)

I avoided attracting too much attention to myself and they continued to play together.  After the mayhem of the last couple days, this sweet interaction was exactly what this frazzled mom needed.

BUT WAIT!  

There's MORE!!

My kids trade the joy of holding the Costco receipt.  They cannot WAIT to get their smiley face balloon from the merchandise police as you exit Costco.

They just brought me this drawing they created on one of my invoices!

Elena drew the smiley face and Leo added the balloon string.
