Jason very generously offered to go to the grocery store yesterday after work. When he arrived home, he threw down the groceries to quickly come to my aid with my new birthday present (the Eye-Fi Wireless Card reader for my camera!!!!). While we were sitting there (and Leo was sitting in the drivers seat outside scaring our neighbor to death!! She kept asking him where his parents were...Bad parents!!) we heard a big crash in the kitchen. Jason ran in there to see the carnage.
Well, this is one way to crack an egg I suppose. Rather than toss it all, I scavenged through our bare refrigerator and somehow came up with this delicious concoction.
We were able to use our home-grown cherry tomatoes and home grown squash! De-lish!!
what a great idea! I would have just fed the eggs to our pigs. I love your blog, by the way! It's very pretty
ReplyDeleteThat looks tasty, and how cool that you're growing your own produce. We live on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a complex and don't have direct access to a yard, but I've been seeing more and more container gardens recently and I'm tempted to give that a try sometime.
ReplyDeleteWe also belong to a local crop-share and get other fresh produce (mostly veggies) from her every week! Maybe see if you can find one of those in your area!
